Mike Lapham is the director of United for a Fair Economy’s Responsible Wealth project and co-author of "The Self-Made Myth: And the Truth about How Government Helps Individuals and Businesses Succeed" (Barrett Koehler, 2012). Since 1997, he's been organizing business leaders and wealthy individuals in the top 5% of income and/or wealth to speak out in favor of progressive taxes (including a strong estate tax), living wages, and corporate accountability. Lapham was a fifth-generation owner of a paper company in Upstate New York and had a 10-year career developing affordable housing prior to co-founding Responsible Wealth.

Stout, who is the Distinguished Professor of Corporate and Business Law, Clarke Law Institute at Cornell Law School, is the author of numerous articles and books, and lectures widely. Her most recent books are "The Shareholder Value Myth: How Putting Shareholders First Harms Investors, Corporations and the Public" (Berrett Koehler, 2012), and "Cultivating Conscience: How Good Laws Make Good People" (Princeton University Press, 2011).
